Empi 20.6mm big bore dual circuit brake master cylinder for VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, and Thing. This VW Type 1 big bore dual circuit master cylinder moves more fluid than standard Type 1 master cylinders for disc brake applications. Provides a slightly harder pedal feel over stock.
For a clean install we recommend the 17-2878-0 snap-in reservoir (sold separately).
This can be used as a direct replacement for 1967-79 Beetles, but can also be used to convert earlier Beetles to dual circuit master cylinder by changing reservoir and the front hard lines.
