This big bore carburetor offers a stock style driving experience and similar fuel economy on mild-medium performance built 1600cc and larger engines. Includes tapered adapter spacer to mount on stock 34 PICT intake manifold.
Fits standard 34-PICT intakes used on 1971-74 Beetle Ghia Thing. Mounting stud bolt spread is 68mm. Air cleaner throat is standard 2-1/16 inch diameter and all air cleaners that fit 34 pict will fit these.
We recommend this carburetor for 1600cc engines with mild-medium performance mods like larger cam, exhaust, ratio rockers or higher compression. This also works well on stock or mild builds up to 1835cc.
