Empi fan shroud air intake screen for Empi Ram-Air fan shrouds with fan lip. Intake screen prevents debris and sticks from being ingested by the cooling fan on VW Type 1 engines when using in off-road applications such as Baja Bug and Dune Buggies. This clamps onto Empi off-road Ram-Air buggy fan shrouds P/N 8857 that have a built in lip over the fan intake hole. If installing on a stock style fan shroud you will need to modify your shroud to mount.
