Empi 16-2304-0 chromoly IRS stub axle converts your stock Beetle, Ghia, Type 3, or dune buggy trailing arm to allow use of stronger 100mm diameter Bus or Thing CV joints. This aftermarket stub axle fits 1969-1979 VW Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 Squareback, Notchback, Fastback, and VW-based dune buggies with IRS rear suspension. The stub axle fits in the IRS trailing arm. Based on the Thing stub axle, this replaces reference number 181-501-263 and converts your arm to use larger CV joints.
Fits 100mm diameter Bus or Thing CV joints and fits 8mm-1.25 bolts.
