Empi dual 40 HPMX carburetor kit for VW Type 1 dual port style engines. This IDF style dual 40 carb kit fits 1971-79 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing, Type 2 Bus with upright style Type 1 engine, and dune buggies with dual port engines. Requires updated style fan shroud or slight fitment of OEM fan shroud around the intake manifold.

This is a complete bolt on kit for all dual port VW Type 1 engines. We recommend dual 40 HPMX/IDF kits for 1776-2110cc sized engines.
