Remote oil cooler adapter eliminates the stock oil cooler and allows use of an external oil cooler and/or adding an external oil filter. Removing stock oil cooler can increase the low airflow issue to cylinders 3 and 4 common in Air Cooled engines. Adapter is threaded for 3/8 inch NPT fittings - top port is flow out, bottom port is flow in.
Kit includes gasket which eliminates the need for OEM style oil cooler seals. Fits on all VW Type 1 engines but may require slight cutting of the fan shroud depending on model.
