Rubber steering coupler also called steering rag joint or steering coupler disc for 1955-77 Type 1 air cooled VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing. This steering coupler connects the two steering shaft coupler pieces in stock vehicles and some dune buggies. These rag joint couplers provide just a little bit of flex between steering shaft to steering box pieces. Use with steering coupler 17-2584-0.
Bolt spacing measures 1-3/8 inch on each side, or 2 inches across.
Only fits Standard Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, and Thing. These are NOT used on Super Beetle.
